I remember listening to neil young on the car ride home and falling asleep on the couch next to my parents with the tv on.

I draw pictures using images from dreams, life, and memories, culling from the forlorn sides of folk and country music, the spiritual qualities of ambient and slowcore, and the drifting sonic palettes of jason molina, sparklehorse, arthur russell, grouper, and bedhead.

This is A Place to Go's first record of original songs played on guitar, synthesizer, and sung via human voice. Five songs of loss, spite, rebirth, growth, enlightenment, and television. They are quite far away and intimately close at the same time, depending on how you listen and with what equipment. We hope you find some time to get lost in them or at least look around for bit. Thank you for following along.
